Canadian Equivalency Process for Dentists trained from an Unrecognised Course

Equivalency Process
The Equivalency Process provides an alternate route to certification as a dentist in Canada for graduates of non-accredited dental programs. This process is also integrated with the admission process for the Qualifying and Degree Completion Programs. The Equivalency Process comprises three Assessments. Successful completion of the Assessments allows you to participate in the NDEB Written and OSCE Examinations. Canadian Faculties of Dentistry also use your results on select Assessments in the admission process for Qualifying and Degree Completion Program.

Below are links to review and preparatory courses for the Equivalency Process offered by Canadian Faculties of Dentistry. The RCDSO does not endorse or sponsor any of these courses and offers this information simply to try and be of assistance. As the information is always changing you need to contact the schools directly for specific information regarding how to apply and fees.

Dental Stem Cells and their Importance- Why You SHould OPT for Banking your and your Child's Dental Stem Cells

Dental Pulp Stem Cells, or (DPSCs) are multipotent stem cells that have the potential to differentiate into a variety of cell types.

Dental pulp is the soft living tissue inside a tooth. Stem cells are found inside the soft living tissue. Scientists have identified the mesenchymal type of stem cell inside dental pulp. This particular type of stem cell has the future potential to differentiate into a variety of other cell types including:

Stem Cells in Teeth
The tooth is nature's 'safe' for your family's unique stem cells

While stem cells can be found in most tissues of the body, they are usually buried deep, are few in number and are similar in appearance to surrounding cells. With the discovery of stem cells in teeth, an accessible and available source of stem cells has been identified.

The tooth is nature's "safe" for these valuable stem cells, and there is an abundance of these cells in baby teeth, wisdom teeth and permanent teeth - Tooth Eligibility Criteria. The stem cells contained within teeth are capable of replicating themselves and can be readily recovered at the time of a planned dental procedure.

Living stem cells found within extracted teeth were routinely discarded every day, but now, with the knowledge from recent medical research, StemSave gives you the opportunity to save these cells for future use in developing medical treatments for your family.
Aside from being the most convenient stem cells to access, dental stem cells have significant medical benefits in the development of new medical therapies.  Using one's own stem cells for medical treatment means a much lower risk of rejection by the body and decreases the need for powerful drugs that weaken the immune system, both of which are negative but typical realities that come into play when tissues or cells from a donor are used to treat patients.
Further, the stem cells from teeth have been observed in research studies to be among the most powerful stem cells in the human body.  Stem cells from teeth replicate at a faster rate and for a longer period of time than do stem cells harvested from other tissues of the body.
Stem cells in the human body age over time and their regenerative abilities slow down later in life.  The earlier in life that your family's stem cells are secured, the more valuable they will be when they are needed most.

World's First Implant

Indias number 1 Clinical Training program

Why MDS people think Dentistry is their birth right????

I feel depressed and go through great agony when I see MDS people who think Dentistry is their birth right and a BDS has no right whatsoever.

It is pity on our system of dentistry when a teacher, who is intended to pass on àll his knowledge to anybody comes to his place to seek knowledge, refuses to give knowledge citing reasons unimaginable.
It reminds me of an old Indian story where Guru Dronacharya refused to teach a devoted student just because he didn't belong to the rajpoot family

Coming back to the topic I feel, MDS should be abolished . At least MDS teachers should not be allowed to teach BDS students. Because they deliberate teach less. Lesser than what they are intended to as per the guidelines of the respective governing body.
I am not talking all this in respect to all teachers but most of them.
A BDS is left begging and all focus is put on pg students. If your not going to teach anything to BDS then abolish BDS and directly admit students to the speciality course. Shame on the system. In contemporary India 70 percent of students who get enrolled in MDS courses in private colleges don't deserve to be MDS on first hand. And when they do get this then they have audacity to speak all bullshit about BDS.  They forget that they have got MDS as a tag which was so easy that a duffer like him or her got it. Had it been truly on merit then definitely he would have not been there.

Above all when an Academy tries to change the tide. And wants to make every BDS capable enough to work the way a MDS should then these same MDS people have problems. Because such BDS are potent danger to their credibility.

These people talk about the course being DCI certified or government recognised. We say none of the courses are certified. And it is entirely students responsibility if they join such course. But it is promise that you will be able to give shoulder to shoulder competition to any MDS out there after such courses.
Such courses are not  training you to be MDS.  The are just trying to teach you what these MDS forgot to teach you when you were in BDS college.

Why MDS think dentistry is there jageer? ??
And.
1. Because they spent 30 lakh more on a shitty piece of shit ( for most pg private college)
2. Because BDS think they are inferior.

Make a pledge to change all this.
